MORE ABOUT ANEELA  | Growing up around doctors in my family I have always known the importance of healthcare in our life. Even though I spent majority of my life aspiring to be a doctor, I came to UW wanting to go into bioengineering. However, soon enough I realized that engineering is not my thing and that I am rather passionate about leadership in the healthcare industry. This passion can be attributed to my interest in knowing about the handful of American female CEOs and executives who are there to make differences in others’ lives. My goal is to pursue a career in healthcare as an executive who is able to bring the best healthcare to people and make it something that is never a question of affordability. My goal as one of the Vice Presidents of this club is to encourage students out there who are interested in the business side of healthcare and life sciences to join this club as it is one of the biggest opportunity they can get to explore all these different possibilities that bring business and healthcare together.
