Hello everyone!

In light of Thanksgiving coming this Thursday, our meeting is tomorrow, NOT Thursday. We hope you enjoy your thanksgiving however you choose to spend it, and for those of you who partake in Black Friday, may your endeavors find you many deals!

Because of the schedule change, our meeting will be in a new location. Tomorrow's meeting will be held at the Mechanical Engineering Building Room #238 - NOT Smith Hall. The meeting will be held at the usual time of 5:00 PM.

See you all there!

Hello everyone!

Just here to remind you all that tomorrow (or today if you are actually getting some sleep and do not happen to read this e-mail until morning), Thursday, November 14, is the date of our next bi-weekly meeting. It will be at the same place, Smith 120, at the same time, 5 P.M.

We will be giving updates on the URC subsystem teams, information on workshop fundraising efforts, and information/plans for the Robotics Anonymous section of our organization.

Hello, everyone!

As the subject suggests, the DUBotics leads have chosen to reduce the General Meetings to a bi-weekly schedule. The simple fact is we don't currently have very much to report or discuss every single week, and we know you're busy suffocating on homework, midterms, and anything else your instructors can throw at you. Like the halfway-decent people we are, we respect your time.

And just in case the subject line doesn't jump out at some folks: There is no general meeting tomorrow, Nov. 7. 'K? Good. :) We'll send out another email a few days before the next one, which is likely to be on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Hello everyone!

This is a friendly reminder that there will be a meeting tomorrow. It will again be held at Smith 120, this Thursday, October 31st from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Also, we are working on getting a weekend date for people to get shop certified. Like what was discussed in the meetings - it will be highly advantageous to get machine shop certified if you plan on working in the chassis, arm or any other mechanical teams. It will allow you to more freely participate and play a greater role in not only our club activities, but other engineering clubs as well. It may not hurt for those who are programming or electrically inclined to participate as well.

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone's been doing alright with midterm season passing through. This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow's meeting (October 17) will once again be in Smith Hall's Auditorium 120 at 5:00 PM. Feel free to show up and get more information about the different projects we have to offer and the groups you could be a part of.

For those of you who missed the previous meeting due to conflict - yes, you are still eligible to be a member of DUBotics! We do not expect any one of you to forgo going to class or a midterm to attend a meeting; so, rest assured that missing the first meeting did not affect your membership.

Last meeting, we went over the different groups you can join and laid out the road map for this coming year's activities.

Hello everyone,

I hope you all have been having a great time at school! Details of our first general meeting have now come in and we hope you all will be available for it!

The meeting will be held at Smith 120 at 5:00 PM on Thursday (10/10/13). If you are not familiar with Smith hall, it is the South-Eastern building of the quad and room 120 is an auditorium. There is no need to RSVP ahead of time for the event, feel free to show up and bring anyone along you think would be interested - the room seats 265 people so there is no shortage of space.

Thanks again for your guys' interest and we hope to see you all there!
