Miss Greek 2000 Program & Judging
Miss Greek Program:
*Program should run near three hours in length!
- Fashion Walk - Each contestant will be given approximately one minute in which to model their clothing choice.
- Talent - Each contestant may perform a talent lasting no longer than three minutes.
- Philanthropy Address - Each contestant will be given two minutes for her address.
- Intermission - Approximately 20 minutes.
- Five Finalists and Fund-raiser and Talent winners announced (five minutes).
- Final Question - Approximately 15 minutes.
- Intermission - Approximately five minutes to tally scores.
- Crowning of Miss Greek and Runner-ups - Approximately five minutes.
Judging Criteria & Points:
- Fashion Walk - Poise and Presentation. Five points a piece for a total of ten points.
- Talent - Skill, Creativity, Originality, and Entertainment. Five points a piece for Creativity, Originality, and Entertainment. Ten points for Skill. For a total of 25 points.
- Philanthropy Address - Poise, Philanthropy, and Speech. Ten points a piece for a total of 30 points.
- Fund raising - Amount of money collected through T-shirt sales, ticket sales, and donations. 35 points is the max. here, if they make the goal of $7,000 they get 35 points. Essentially five points for every thousand dollars received, one point for every $200.
- Final Question - Poise, Timeliness, Sensibility, and Difficulty of Question. Five points a piece for a total of 20 points.
* Points of the five finalists are totaled and multiplied by 80%, that score it the one that will carry over into the final round. For example, if a girl has a total score of 86. Her score carried over is: 86 x .2 = 69.
* A grand total of 100 points, then an additional 20 points for the five finalists.
