Gamma Mu Adopt A School enters it's fourth year.
The following paragraphs contain information from last year's Adopt A School Program. We will update this section as soon as Adopt A School begins again for the 1999-2000 school year.
Adopt A School began again this school year back on November 2nd. It is the second year for Gamma Mu's Adopt A School Program with nearby Laurelhurst Elementary. It is also the second year that the Gamma Mu Chapter has actively participated in Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity's Adopt A School Program.
Current Co-Philanthropy chairman Josh Scott said, "We are happy to say that our participation at Laurelhurst Elementary School continues and our relationships with those young students continue to do likewise."
Under the guidance of our Miss Greek/Philanthropy chairmen, Josh Scott and Todd Setterlund, this years group of guys has been spending time with the Laurelhurst students twice a week.
During the overall craziness surrounding the upcoming Ms. Greek pageant, the main group of Delts spends only one day a week at Laurelhurst. However, once Miss Greek winds down, "we will once again focus our energies towards the great students and staff down at Laurelhurst Elem.", said Todd Setterlund.
