We are having our first Husky Taekwondo Seminar and fundraiser led by coaches Huy, Anh, and Long Nguyen of M-Team Taekwondo. They are 2014 and 2016 World Poomsae Championship medalists and US National Team Poomsae coaches! The seminar (8AM-12PM) will be held in Gym D in the IMA.

In addition, on February 3, we will be kicking off the inaugural event for the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Taekwondo Conference (PNCTC.com). This is the first ever Northwest Collegiate TKD community and Husky TKD is leading the charge! We will be hosting Washington State and Oregon State for a friendly seminar and competition starting at 1PM – all Husky TKD members are encouraged to participate. This portion will be led by coaches Tim Ghormley (Stanford TKD) and Dongyoung Kim (Korea National team member).

There is a $15 fee for UW Students for the poomsae seminar and PNCTC event – $15 includes both events. This is an incredible opportunity to meet and train with some of the best in our martial arts and sport.
