Human Rights Journal
The Center for Human Rights and Justice has recently been exploring the possibility of a Human Rights Journal at the University of Washington. The UWSL does not currently have a journal devoted to human rights issues. In the past students interested in writing about human rights issues have had to shape their topics to fit the goals of the Washington Law Review or the Pacific Rim Law and Policy Journal. A publication focused on human rights would provide an enduring forum for human rights scholarship and debate at the UWSL.
We believe there is the student interest in such a publication. Currently, we have considered either developing a less formal regularly published human rights zine, or creating a more formal e- publication.
