Bio
I became interested in Space Exploration by my sophomore
year of high school and looked for Aerospace degrees when
choosing my college. Finding a college with a good engineering
program, in state, and with the degree I wanted seemed a
good choice, thus I applied and got in to the University
of Washington. Entering the UW and being accepted into the
Aeronautics and Astronautics department forwarded my dream
of working in the Aerospace field. I learned a lot in my
bachelor’s degree but felt I needed to learn more,
thus I continued on to earn my master’s degree with
emphases in control systems. I hope to use the knowledge
I receive in the degree to forward human exploration in
space.
While at the UW I have experienced and learned not just
in the classroom. Activities I’ve enjoyed include
community service activities, Hall counsel meetings in the
dorms, and intramural activities like softball and flag
football. I have also enjoyed organizing group outings for
BBQ’s or playing ultimate Frisbee. With these activities
combined with the quality education, I hope to go far and
help add to our knowledge of the universe we live in.
