Founded in 1991, Sustainable Seattle is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the long term quality of life in the Seattle / King County area. Sustainable Seattle provides communities and individuals with meaningful information that reflect their priorities and helps them make sustainable choices. At Sustainable Seattle, we promote and integrate sustainability in our work, programs and lives.  In celebration of our 15th year anniversary, we recently issued our first Sustainability Report.

The Oxford Health Alliance is sponsoring a global competition for young people (aged 18-27).

All you need to do to enter is submit a photo, video, art or text that captures an aspect of real or imagined healthy urban design (submissions of unhealthy design will also be accepted).

Cornucopia of Growth 6th Annual Auction Dinner and Gala

Seattle Youth Garden Works empowers homeless and underserved youth through garden based education and employment. They are a market gardening program for youth ages 14-22 in the University District and South Park neighborhoods. Their goals are to connect youth to housing, health care, education, jobs and community. SYGW has volunteer opportunities.
