Letter From the Editor

Welcome to Winter Quarter and the year of the Ox, the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. But before you buckle down and be productive, take a little time check out the latest edition of the 'Fish!

While the world around us continues to change, the 'Fish will continue to bring you a smorgasbord of reviews, profiles, editorials, look-backs and look-forwards. You'll be better able to decide which Heavy Metal album to listen to and which book to read as you dine at a favorite local (or not) restaurant. You’ll also discover what your colleagues are up to – whether that be research, coursework, volunteer work, or working on concurrent degrees.

Speaking of, we were curious about the folks out there pursuing a MPA degree from the Evans School of Public Affairs in addition to the MLIS. We asked two iPeeps, Bo Kinney and Claire Miccio, to talk about their experiences. What we received was two very different views. You can also find out what guest lecturer Aaron Schmidt thinks of libraries and technology AND MUCH MORE!"

Remember to periodically (or serially, or monographically) check out the blog! We are a tool of procrastination and encourage you to lose yourself in our pages of news, entertainment, and... stuff!
