Mentor at XRA Hackathon 2027

Mentors keep teams moving. You help them sharpen an idea, get past a build error, and turn a rough prototype into a demo, without building it for them.

The role

What mentors do

  • Give feedback on ideas and demos
  • Help teams debug and answer their questions
  • Walk the floor and check in with teams
  • Answer questions in the mentor channel of the XRA Discord

What mentors do not do

  • Judge projects
  • Work directly on a team's project
  • Take part as a participant on the same day

What we ask

  • Experience with XR development. The application asks about it.
  • At least one four-hour shift. Pick as many as you like.

Shifts on Saturday, January 30, 2027

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

1 to 5 p.m.

5 to 9 p.m.

Food is provided for mentors on shift. Between visits, questions come in through the mentor channel of the XRA Discord.
