These meetings are welcome to those of ALL experience levels! Come to meet new friends, see who else at the UW is interested in Salsa, and learn a thing or two from someone at the meetings. We discuss club stuff but mostly Dance!
Even if you've never danced, come on out!
Seattle Salsa Congress
The annual Seattle Salsa Congress is happening this month, Nov 27-29th.
The Salsa Club @ UW has secured a discount for our members for Sunday Night!!
We get the Sunday night (Nov 29) pass for $10 off, so $20 for the evening. We have 20 of these discounted tickets right now (could maybe get more if there is a lot of interest). Email asap to request a ticket.
Because we have a limited amount we will need everyone to pay in advance, we will send you instructions when you email us. We will also organize some carpools to all go together on Sunday night since the event is by the airport.
Sunday is going to be a lot of fun b/c there will be amazing performances, great dancers, & we will get to see a Jack&Jill competition at the pro level, all for only $20. We take the bus to Capitol Hill together! We'll meet at the Trabant Cafe on NE 45th Ave and University Way (the AVE) at 9:00pm. The bus we take is the 49 in front of American Apparel next to Trabant Cafe, we usually catch the 9:30pm bus. You can get directions for HaLo

Get off the bus on in front of the Seattle Central CC Campus.
No car is required: the 49 stops within a block from the club leaving for the U-district every 20 minutes or so in the evening until after midnight.
Salsa BOMB!

We'll be there 12:00pm-2:30pm. We'll have a canopy.
