The Salsa Club @ UW is a community of UW students interested in the music and dance of Salsa.
The Club provides resources for students to further their salsa education, practice together, learn from each other, and go out dancing in Seattle together.
We now have a Performance Team that performs throughout the year at certain events at UW. Try-outs take place one or two times a year. Stay tuned!
Whether this is your first time dancing, or if you taken a few classes, or been dancing for
a long time, all are welcome! Come out and meet others, but more importantly, dance!
We host occasional practicas, or "practices", in the U-district for club members.
We organize nights to take the bus together to go out dancing in Downtown Seattle.
We promote salsa on campus.
We provide information about where to learn salsa in Seattle.
We organize private special workshops with professional instructors for club
members.
