Meet the Translate Change Team
The Translate Change executive team consists of six dedicated college students with expertise in international studies, business, design, and informatics. Coming from immigrant and refugee families, we understand the difficulty of assimilating into a new country and learning a completely new language. Passionate and driven, we are determined to help students from refugee and immigrant families know that they too can succeed and achieve their dreams.
Our Vision
By helping those who cannot speak English, we will become a bridge for those who cannot speak English to the English speaking community. We will be able to help make their lives easier as it is very difficult to live in a community where you are not understood by the majority of the population. Those who cannot speaker English feel isolated and alone, especially seniors who have no family in Seattle. By connecting with them, we will be able to make a huge difference in their lives.
