We had the pleasure to introduce our first tech shop covering quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCMD). Eliza Harrison, a PhD graduate from the Chemical Engineering department, lead the discussion on this technique which is useful for characterizing thin films and studying molecular interactions with surfaces.
