"I wonder if I'm gonna land this?" says Chris Lum. |

2002-2003
season
Nothing
too exciting has happened yet, so here are some preseason photos.
2001-2002
season
I
need someone who remembers what happened to write in the details of
this year...
2000-2001
season
Although
the snow could've been better, the 2000-2001 season was not to be
missed. From skiing and riding in wet, soggy powder to catching air
to apres ski partying, students and instructors kept having fun all
while hoping for the next big storm.
The
highlight of the season for many HWSers began on an overcast, powdery
day. Constructing a small kicker, we then proceeded to session it.
Everyone tried to learn new moves, such as 360 Mute Grab, Backflip,
Straight Air, Gingerbread air(aka Corrine Air), and the all famous
twist-off-skis-on-jump-then-attempt-to-360 aka Sonker air(check out
our upcoming video for more). In the end, it was a very memorable
day.
As the
season came to a close, sadly two of our instructors hung up their
skis/boards and moved on to bigger and better things. Al and Katrina,
we'll miss you.
