Getting Involved

Prepare:

1. Sign Up for our email list: HERE
2. Register yourself for a Habitat Seattle-King County Volunteer Hub Account HERE
• Use this PDF for instructions on how to register.
3. Check our calendar for an upcoming meeting!
4. Sign Up for a build or store event by adding your name to the list at a meeting
• Unable to attend a meeting? Email us and we can add your name to the list!
• Are you able to drive on a build day? Be Sure to Tell the Officers!

For Build Days:

1. Make sure you are registered on BOTH:
• Online through Volunteer Hub
• On the Habitat UW Spreadsheet
2. Must Wear:
   • Pants
   • Shirt with Sleeves
   • Sweatshirt/Old Rain Jacket (Dress for the Weather!!)
   • Closed toe, sturdy shoes
   • Make sure these clothes can get dirty!
3. Pack a Lunch or bring money for one
4. Take rain jacket/pants just in case
5. Be prepared to have an awesome time on a construction site!
