goals:
I am pursuing a degree in computer science as there is a focus on analyzing problems from both an abstract and technical perspective to design various solutions. In the future, I hope to continue expanding my knowledge as a software engineer.
advice:
My advice to incoming students is to ask for help early on if confused as concepts build on themeselves. I highly recommend going to office hours to recieve help and make connections not only in this class but others. If you ever get stuck on a problem and can't seem to figure out why:
- take a break & come back with a fresh perspective
- staring at code for a prolonged period of time won't always solve your issue
- explain your problem out loud to help pinpoint the issue
