Leadership Team

Co-President - Jenny Park

Jenny is a Cellular, Molecular, & Developmental Biology and Psychology double major and a Music minor at the University of Washington. As co-president, she provides direction and oversees activities for our club. You can often find her running at the IMA or playing tennis. She loves going to happy hour with friends, shopping, eating sashimi, and drinking iced green tea. 

Co-President - Judy Louie

Judy is an Environmental Health undergraduate student at the University of Washington. During her free time, she likes to read, play badminton, and spend time with family and friends.

Chair - Katherine Howe

Katherine is an undergraduate majoring in Biology at the University of Washington. As chair, she oversees glasses drives, membership administration, and organizational communications. She enjoys playing the piano, volunteering, traveling, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors.

Vice President of Community Outreach - Lupita Gomez

Lupita is an aspiring Neurobiology major and a Spanish minor at UW.  She has desired to be an optometrist since the eighth grade and  regularly attends the Newman Center. She loves visiting home in Mabton, WA, and visiting Mexico. Always excited to try new things, she dances with the IMA Huskies Dance Club, and enjoys watching Mexican soap operas.

Vice President of Coordination - Ann Nguyen

Ann is a junior majoring in General Biology with hopes of becoming an optometrist specialized in vision therapy. Outside of Unite for Sight, she volunteers at the UWMC Eye Center and is the current president of her sorority. She enjoys a good game of tennis, traveling anywhere and everywhere, coffee, and looking in the Seattle Times for new resturants!

Vice President of Finance - Heather Brown

Heather is a senior this year at UW majoring in Communications. She is from Hawaii and is pursuing a career in optometry. Heather also has an interest in global health!

Vice President of Vision Screenings - Yvonne Tyler

Yvonne is a Neurobiology major and a French minor at UW. As VP Vision Screenings, in addition to providing vision, she brings materials and supplies to our volunteer events. She enjoys photography, playing ultimate frisbee, and running.

Webmaster - David Tran

David is a Biology major undergraduate at the University of Washington. He will be maintaining the website. You can often find him working out at the IMA or playing tennis. He enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and snowboarding.
