We are a Registered Student Organization at the University of Washington that promotes SCUBA diving in the Pacific Northwest. We encourage education on equipment, gear configuration, certifications, the environment, and other skills important to the sport.

Our organization was formed Autumn quarter of 2008. In forming the club, we hope to provide a way for divers affiliated with UW to meet dive buddies and other people interested in the sport. Our plan is to hold regular meetings and/or info sessions on various topics throughout the school year.

Club Benefits

Divers can meet others to organize transportation for dives, work on certifications together, trade gear, etc. In addition, we are affiliated with the local dive shops Underwater Sports and Seattle Scuba Schools. Club members are offered a discount on certification classes, rentals and gear. Underwater Sports has stores in Northgate, Bellevue, Edmonds, and five other places around the Puget Sound. They can teach any specialty class offered, and have a large selection of dive gear. Seattle Scuba School offers us a deal on rental gear and is located on Westlake.

Participation / Diving with us

All divers who wish to participate in local dives with us need to send us a completed waiver before the dive. DAN Dive Accident Insurance is highly recommended.
