Taiwanese Overseas Student Association (TOSA) is a student organization that is geared towards promoting Taiwanese cultures and serving both undergraduate and graduate students.   Every year, TOSA strives to make incoming and continuing students feel welcomed and at home.   At the beginning of each autumn quarter, we host a general orientation about TOSA and a Majors Information Night in order to answer questions regarding college life adjustment, settling down in Seattle, classes, majors, etc.  

In order to promote Taiwanese cultures to people of all nationalities and ethnicities, TOSA strives to strike a balance between social events that bring the campus together and culture events for those who may be unfamiliar with Taiwanese culture. We host exciting events throughout the entire school year.   This year, the TOSA team is working hard to put together a handful of major events such as Night Market, Movie Night, All-You-Can-Eat Hotpot, Tulip Trip and Members’ Appreciation Party.   

Overall, our goal is to enhance awareness of Taiwanese culture and provide a medium for those who are interested to learn more about each other. TOSA encourages and welcomes students of all ethnic backgrounds to participate and get involved!   

華大台灣海外同學會(TOSA)，提供台灣學子一個溫暖的海外歸宿，本社團協助台灣學生，不論大學生或是研究生，解決在美求學過程中遇到的困難，也建立台灣學生的互動網路，讓留學在外的學子們有諮詢談心的對象。TOSA在學年中舉辦各式多元的活動: 提供初次到西雅圖的學子們接機活動。由經驗豐富的學長學姊親自解惑的 major info night。一解思鄉和食慾的夜市。在美國過不到的台灣新春圍爐活動。遊覽西雅圖美景之一的鬱金香之旅。除此之外，還會不定期舉辦台灣電影欣賞。提供台灣學生在西雅圖有依靠的力量和互動的網路，並且建立人脈。本社另一宗旨為宣揚台灣文化，TOSA 辦的諸多活動都熱誠歡迎各種不同種族的朋友一起共襄盛舉，一起體驗台灣獨樹一格的多樣性的文化。

TOSA 是一群自發的華大學生，本著熱誠的心情所建立的社團，希望給來自同鄉的同學朋友們最溫暖的服務。期待有興趣意願幫忙的朋友們加入我們的行列，一起為台灣進一份心力。
