Due to lack of cheap room availability, the Feast and Ithra are being scaled back to just the Feast of St. Bunstable -- as of after the meeting, we have the date February 11, 2006 reserved and the event information has been sent off to the calendar. The site we'll be using is the Ballard Oddfellows Hall -- a steal at $45/hour including kitchen and chairs and no deposit. Muirgheal inghean Alasdair has received the rental forms, which are due by the end of January, and will be brining them to the next business meeting. The hall will be reserved from 6-10 PM, with the first and last half hour for clean-up, making the times listed for the event 6:30 to 9:30 PM. As last year, it will be a potluck where we provide the main course.
Currently, Muirgheal inghean Alasdair is heavily eyeing two of the Scottish dishes she has been playing with. She'll have them priced to see if they're in our price range. For the interested, she's thinking minced collops and colcannon.
Future Meetings
As of now, meeting times and dates will remain the same -- making our next business meeting January 4, 2006 at 7:30 PM. The exact location will besent to the list prior to the meeting.
Project Night
We're owed a number of classes and are looking for things to fill our activity nights, the next being January 18. If nothing else, there will be charters to paint.
Light of Saint Bunstable Scroll
As mentioned before, we'd like to do an original scroll for the Light of St. Bunstable this year -- Ursula suggested something based on the "Free Warren Charter" since it is decorated around the edges with animals, including bunnies. Images should be provided at the next meeting for general consumption. We'd also like to actually get the medallions for last year and thus year done.
