Dr. Cheryl Crazy Bull

Dr. Cheryl Crazy Bull s the President of the Northwest Indian College, in Bellingham, Washington. Before taking over the reins of the Northwest Indian College, she worked for over 20 years in a variety of educational institutions from K-12 to higher education, primarily with Native American institutions. Crazy Bull worked as the Chief Educational Officer, in a K-12 tribally chartered school (1998-2002). She provided planning, improvement, and development services to Native American organizations, as a consultant (Crazy Bull & Associates), for the Sicangu Tribe (1996-1998). She worked at Sinte Gleska University as Vice President, Administration and Director for Institutional Relations, Dean for Instructional Programs, director for Women’s Project, planning officer, instructor, and department chair (1981-1995). Crazy Bull has also served on various boards such as, Northern Plains Tribal Art Show and Market, Sicangu Enterprise Center, and the American Indian Resources Institute.

Cheryl Crazy Bull is an enrolled member of the Sicangu Band of the Lakota Nation, also known as the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. She holds a ME in educational leadership, from South Dakota State University. Her BS degree is in business administration with management emphasis, from the University of South Dakota.
