iSERVE BUS SHELTER MURAL— MAY, 2008
In partnership with Metro's Bus Shelter program, members of iServe design and painted a "Literacy" themed mural for a bus shelter near campus.

ISERVE SCRABBLE TOURNAMENT FOR LITERACY — APRIL 21, 2008
The College Inn Pub was the location of our first Scrabble Tournament to support Page Ahead. Particpants paid $10 to enter the tournament, and all entry fees were donated to Page Ahead, a Seattle nonprofit that works to improve the reading and language skills of at-risk children across Washington state.

iSERVE OPEN MEETING — APRIL 2, 2008
All members of the iSchool community are welcome! 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM in MGH 420.

BOOKS TO PRISONERS — MARCH 4, 2008
Several iSchoolers joined Books to Prisoners for an evening to help them select and package books to send to prisoners. Book to Prisoners has weekly volunteer opportunities; please check their website for more information.

iSERVE & iKNIT JOINT PROJECT — DECEMBER 2007
iServe and iKnit teamed up for a knit-and-toiletries drive for Noel House, a Seattle shelter for homeless women! Donations of new toiletries, knitted items (or knitting supplies) for Noel House were accepted from November 15 to December 10 in a drop box in the iSalon.

iSERVE SERVES YOU! — OCTOBER 16 & 17, 2007
iServe officers will be visiting LIS 510 classes this fall to welcome first year MLIS students, talk about iServe, and serve you treats! We'll be visiting your classroom soon!
