Hi, my name is Gerardo! :)

I am an undergraduate student and research assistant at the University of Washington. I am studying Computer Engineering in the UW Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering. My research is in the field of computational chemistry, and I am part of the UW Li Group as a member of their software development subgroup. My research focus been primarily in implementing visualization methods for the Chronus Quantum software package.

I am interested in backend development in both low and high level applications.

Fun Fact:
What got me interested in engineering is fixing Nintendo Gameboy devices.

My other hobbies include listening to music, playing video games, and being physically active.
