CIVITAS call for Vancouver, B.C. Planning Committee volunteers
In spring 2007 CIVITAS is planning a trip to Vancouver, B.C. The purpose of the trip is to study and analyze good urban form. This city represents what a livable and healthy urban environment can look like,and takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding what makes good urban form. The goal of this years trip is to gain a better understanding of the following, public transit, sustainable development, citizenship, design, and governance.
