Fall Quarter Meeting Dates




Yes everyone, it is that time of year where you find out what days to show up at the Ethnic Cultural Center for Circle K meetings!

And the days are...: 9/29 (M) @ 3:30 PM, 10/6 (M) @4:00 PM, 10/13 (M) @4:00 PM, 10/20 (M) @4:00 PM, 10/27 (M) @4:00 PM, 11/3 (M) @4:00 PM, 11/10 (M) @4:00 PM, 11/17 (M) @4:00 PM, 11/24 (M) @4:00 PM, 12/1 (M) @4:00 PM

Note the pattern of MONDAY at 4:00 PM. Get in the habit of showing up! No need to walk that far if you happen to be on south campus! No need to move from room to room every week anymore! No excuses to forget where we're located! No worries if you haven't officially joined yet! (Technically, no need to even be present [other than in spirit]! Join the club's mailing list to learn about all sorts of ducky volunteering opportunities!)

Congratulations to our club for an amazing 2007-2008 year. Our club received the following awards for our achievements and creativity at the past International Convention in Denver, Colorado. We are looking forward to another amazing year!!

- Single Service for S3, Saturday of Service in Seattle - Silver Division, 2nd Place, University of Washington

- Time: 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm
- Location: 3921 Linden Avenue North, Seattle
- Job: Involve some sort of after-school meetings and children. (Does the mystery of this project not intrigue you? Give it a shot!)

CLUB FUND-RAISING OPPORTUNITY! FREE Tickets perchance???

Description - We need members to help assist in game day parking prior to the basketball, volleyball, and soccer games. Friends are welcome to join and participate in behalf of you/Circle K. The money you (and/or your lackies) raise can go to:
Paying your club dues (two hours)
Paying your way to FCON (TBD) or DCON (16 hours)
Contributing to the club's general fund for socials, service projects, or events

Next games: 10/18 – Oregon State, 10/25 – Notre Dame, 11/8 – Arizona State, 11/15 – UCLA

* Fall Conference is a annual weekend event to join together new and current Circle K members from colleges all over the Pacific Northwest in a relaxed, outdoor setting in order to build community and leadership skills.
