Help package groceries, stock shelves, and assist visitors at the U-district food bank. Help low income individuals obtain food for themselves and their families.
UW CKI has been volunteering with the University District food bank for many years! They give food to over 1,100 families each week! The food bank is set up similar to a grocery store; after shoppers pick out their food, volunteers transfer the groceries from their cart to paper bags and wish them a good day! Volunteers also sort food and stock shelves.
