Technology Education

The iSchool focuses on information, but many knowledge management careers also require some technical competencies that are not always covered in the iSchool graduate curriculum. If you are looking to expand your technical skills beyond what iSchool coursework offers, below are some suggestions ranging from UW courses to online resources that can fill in the gaps.

To read course descriptions, click here. If any of these courses seem interesting, we suggest iSchool students to contact the instructor a quarter or more before class begins. Students outside of the instructor’s department usually register during period 2 or 3 (after departmental students have registered) and may need add codes from instructors.
