Biography

Katherine is a graduate student at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is a PhD student in Education Policy, Organizations, and Leadership at the College of Education, and is also pursuing a concurrent MPA degree in Social Policy at the the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. Her research interests are broadly in the politics of education reform and the racial dimensions of education and social policymaking.

Katherine completed her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies at San Francisco State University and graduated from Harvard University with a master’s degree in Language and Literacy. She is originally from the San Gabriel Valley area of Los Angeles and spends her free time aggressively knitting socks.
