Discussion

As we prepared flyers for the March 7th Campus Girl Scouts promotion, we discussed more ways of reaching out and improving involvement. Possible ways discussed were to send out flyers to graduating high school seniors and Girl Scout service units. Flyers will also be posted around campus with our contact information on them. There will also be a survey sent out to the current email list.

We are planning on hosting a craft night for both local troops and Campus Girl Scouts in April. There will be a variety of crafts, ranging from the more difficult to easy to make. Come attend the planning session for this event on Feb. 17th at the 2nd Floor lounge of the HUB.

Another possible event discussed was a horseback riding trip. Cost would likely be $20, and transportation would be provided. If you are interested in seeing this as an event, LET US KNOW and we will plan it.

Also discussed was the planning of other activities that would be attended by our members. If you are interested in participating in an event, please let us know! Some ideas put forth were: bowling, skating, IMA night, a work day at a Girl Scout camp, investiture and pool (billiards).
