What is Girl Fun Day?

WHO:

Girl Fun Day is a
day full of fun games, songs, crafts, and hiking for
Daisy
and Brownie Girl Scouts.
|

However, if Cadettes and Senior would like to help out during one of the
days, please contact us via email.
We would appreciate the help!

Capacity for our event at
the River Ranch lodge is set at 150 people.
|
|
In order to serve as many
girls as we can, we need to limit the number of adults coming. Please send
at least one adult per troop and preferably no more than 2 (seniors count as
girls not adults).
Safety-Wise requirements (one adult for every six girls).

WHAT: Our 6th Annual
Girl Fun Day full of fun games, songs, crafts, and hiking for our Girl Scout
community! Our theme this year is "How the West was Fun"
|
|
WHERE: Held at the
BEAUTIFUL Camp River Ranch in Carnation, WA.
Camp River Ranch ~ Located next to the Tolt River, just
outside the town of Carnation, this 435-acre camp lies at the foothills of
the Cascades and includes Lake Langlois.

|
WHEN: February
21, 2009 or February 28, 2009, 9am-3pm.
Programs are the same for both days.

What should participants bring?
|
Sack lunch
|
|
Grocery sack with name on it to bring home goodies
|
What do I wear?
|
Dress for the weather
~ We will be playing outdoor games (weather permitting)
~ We will be walking outdoors a bit
~ Tennis shoes or equivalent (no open toed shoes)
|
|
Uniforms not required (advised to leave at home, so they do
not get dirty)
|
How do I
register?

Fill out this form and
return with check payment by December 1, 2008.

Please mail BOTH the registration form AND the CHECK payment for all girls and adults to the address below: We only accept checks as payment for the event; please make checks out to “Campus Girl Scouts.” Once we have received your registration forms and payment, we will send out a confirmation email, completing the registration process! We cannot offer refunds for cancellations. Please state what age group your girl would like to be with.

Campus Girl Scouts are unable to
provide transportation, so we encourage carpooling.
