Day Island Yacht Club

Location

Day Island Yacht Club is located one mile south east of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. 120 feet of moorage is available. Due to shallow water, the local tides must be +1 feet deeper than your draft for safe entry.  There is a water depth marker on the breakwater as you enter the mouth of the basin.  Depth at the deep end of the dock is approximately 3 feet at zero tide.

As you enter the Day Island waterway, keep the green day marker and the large drying shoal in the entrance to port. Favor the starboard shore with its private docks and boathouses until you can make a 45 degree turn to port to Day Island Yacht Club at the end of the waterway, near the bridge. The area designated by red paint on the dock is very shallow.

Lat and Long:  47°14.70'N 122°33.60'W.
