Mixing Properties in a Microfluidic Device
Supervised by Dr. Bruce Finlayson

For this research I worked in COMSOL Multiphysics to model mixing in a microreactor. The model was simplified to a T-shaped reactor as the reactor that was examined had a mixing chamber of this shape. The model investigated the effect of diffusivity, viscosity, and flow rates on the mixing properties of the situation. The research summary and final report go into more detail about the project.
