The team has been very busy this summer preparing for the upcoming year. The leadership and general direction of the team has been established and the design cycle for summer members has begun. The entire team is excited for these changes and improvements that will take the 20th University of Washington Formula SAE team to a new level of competition. Many new administrative and technical innovations including revised organizational practices, two new technical teams (Aero and Data Acquisition), and the addition of a fully automated pneumatic paddle shifter promise to make UWashington Formula Motorsport one of the most competitive teams out there. Finally, it has been decided by this year's leadership that the team will attend two competitions this year: Formula SAE West and Formula Detroit. The upcoming year will be a very exciting time for UWashington Formula Motorsport.
