          Design a 5.6GHz fully differential 0.13um CMOS Receiver Front-End (LNA, Mixer and Oscillator) using Cadence in team of two with presentation.
       All performances are beyond the requirement.

  • High Frequency Circuit Design (EE571)
           Develop Moment of method Algorithm to analyze and design a multi-conductors data bus for routing high speed data on PCB

  • Microwave Engineering (EE481)
       2.8GHz Low-Pass Filter Design, Layout and test
       4GHz Narrowband Amplifier Design, Layout and test
       5.8GHz 180 degree Hybrid Design
       All design and layout is using Ansoft Designer and tested by Network Analyzer

  • Microstrip Antenna Design (EE 579)
       Design a Dual Band Patch Antenna for GPS(1.575GHz, BW 20MHz) and Iridium (1.62GHz, BW 16.5MHz) using Ansoft Designer/HFSS
       Design an Inverted-F Antenna for PCMCIA(2.4GHz, wide band BW 260MHz)

  • EM Computations & Applications I
         Develop a Two Dimensional FDTD(Finite-difference time-domain) Algorithm using Matlab

Professional Skills
Familiar with RF analog design, EM interference (EMI) effect, multiple scattering simulations.
Simulation tools: Ansoft Designer/HFSS, Cadence, Network Analyzer, ADS, Smith Chart.
Computer languages: Matlab, Fortran.
