People think dreams aren't real just because they aren't made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.
Neil Gaiman
Write Away! is a creative-writing circle on University of Washington's Seattle Campus. We are a small, close-knit group of writers who get together to share the joys of putting words, in ink, on paper.
Every week, a host leads us in two short writing exercises, followed by a group poem. The theme of the session is entirely left to the host. We would share our writing through reading, and while it is not neccessary, we encourage all to participate.
No writing is bad writing in Write Away!, only unfinished ideas finally given life on paper. We celebrate the eccentric, the unique and the absurd.
