About me

I am a first year PhD student in Information Science at the Information School at the University of Washington, and I am a 2008 alumna of the Executive Master of Science in Information Management program.

Currently, I am pursuing two different courses of research.

The first investigates the role of information systems in the lives of homeless young people. I am sponsored in this work by Associate Professor David G. Hendry. Prof. Hendry and I have established a partnership with Street Youth Ministries, working together to create a community technology center. You can read more about this work at http://engage.washington.edu/site/PageNavigator/iSchool_sym.

The second is focused on projects regarding the learning and behavioral competencies of IT project managers, and critical success factors for geographically dispersed technology teams. Assistant Professor Hazel Taylor and Assistant Professor Kevin C. Desouza support me in this work.
