What’s BAW?
Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a worldwide campaign initiated by Society for Neuroscience and Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives. Its aim is to advance public awareness about the progress and benefits of neuroscience research. This year, Neurobiology & Behavior Community Outreach will host up to 20 interactive exhibits for local elementary and junior high school students.

We worked together with the head organizer, Dr. Eric Chudler. As a result of this collaboration, BAW 2008 will expand its space and resources. On March 3, 2008, a record breaking 600 kids will attend the BAW Open House (up by 33% from 2007). We’ll be hosting up to twenty booths (nearly twice as many as in 2007). This creates plenty of room for new exhibits to be designed and implemented by you. We’ll need your help now to make our exhibits a success on March 3.
