Supporting research interests of NSCC students
Biomedical Sciences Student Link is the result of a collaboration between the Neurobiology & Behavior Student Outreach Team (University of Washington) and the North Seattle Community College (NSCC) Advising Center Office.
The goal of this collaboration is to support and encourage the research interests of NSCC science students. We have created a central resource of highly relevant information for potential transfer students and students interested in exploring undergraduate research opportunities. The information contained in these pages focuses on opportunities at the University of Washington, Seattle. Students that do not plan to transfer to UW may still find this information helpful and are welcome to investigate these resources.
Biomedical Sciences Student Link also seeks to create a personal "Student Link" between NSCC students interested in scientific research and current UW graduate students from various science programs and departments. The purpose is to provide peer-to-peer mentoring and advising for NSCC students on all issues related to science research and academics--particularly aspects related to transferring to UW and identifying research internship opportunities at UW. Send your questions to us and we will get back to you with informed responses ASAP.
Biomedical Sciences Student Link is funded in part by a grant from the UW Learning for Leadership Council.
