Out of Silence

RSVP for the event here
October 10th, 8:00pm Ethnic Cultural Theater

Join us for a one-night only staged reading of Advocates for Youth's Out of Silence: Abortion Stories from the 1 in 3 Campaign.
Performed by the University of Washington's Undergraduate Theater Society, and co-presented by the Human Right to Family Planning Conference 2015.

1 in 3 women will have an abortion in their lifetime -- but these stories are rarely heard and often misunderstood. This production is based on real stories of abortion and reproductive health made by real women. We invite you to join us for an honest and powerful representation of abortion.
The performance will last approximately one hour -- after the performance audience members will be able to ask the ensemble questions about this performance and begin a dialogue about the realities and dimensions of abortion stories.

Featuring:

  • Rheanna Atendido
  • Rebecca Bruemmer
  • Emma Halliday
  • Alyssa Karounos
  • Erica Ream
  • Mimi Santos
  • Hannah Schwendeman
