UTS Night Out!

Strawberry Theatre Workshop's production of The Normal Heart
Contact mhanley@uw.edu with questions

Back by popular demand, UTS is excited to announce the details for its next Night Out event! Last quarter's edition was a great success when a group of undergraduate students went to see Azeotrope's production of 25 Saints You Should Know, and now we're doing it all over again.

This time around, we're headed to the Erickson Theater to see Strawberry Theatre Workshop's production of The Normal Heart, by Larry Kramer. Here are some of the many reasons why you should join us for this outing:

-The critics love it, and so will you!
-There is lots of UW energy working on the project, including recent BA graduate Brian Culbertson and current guest faculty member Amy Thone.
-The cast and production team are loaded with brilliant local talent.
-This socially and politically significant play hasn't been produced in Seattle in many, many years.
-The discount we're getting is a true bargain: $15 without fees. That's nearly 25% off of the regular student ticket price.
-Seeing plays is a great way to expand your knowledge of theatre.

Details are below:

Who: Any and all UW undergraduate students
What: Seeing Strawberry Theatre Workshop's production of The Normal Heart
Where: Erickson Theater Off Broadway
When: Friday, February 14th, 7:30pm

If you're interested in attending, please (1) RSVP by sending me an email at mhanley@uw.edu stating your interest, and (2) make a check out to "Undergraduate Theater Society" for $15 and write "Night Out" on the memo line. Please drop all checks off in the UTS mailbox, which is located in the hallway to the left of the School of Drama bulletin board.

All checks are due this Friday, January 31st at 7:30pm. This is a quick turnaround time and space is limited, so don't delay!

Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions or concerns. I hope to see you there!

Tickets will become available 3 weeks before each mainstage show.
