TWS MISSION STATEMENT

 

The Wildlife Society, Student Chapter at the UW Seeks:

·       To promote the conservation of wildlife species and the ecosystems that sustain them.

·       To provide a liaison among individual members, Chapters, Sections, and The Wildlife Society.

·       To provide Chapter members with a better understanding of the goals of The Wildlife Society.

·       To provide opportunities for field related experience or knowledge not available through the University of Washington curriculum.

·       To provide Chapter members with a better understanding of the disciplines of wildlife biology, wildlife management, and conservation biology.

  • To promote high standards of scholarship and professionalism and provide for a better understanding of the qualities and qualifications for which prospective employers are looking.

We are currently accepting ideas for this year’s meetings, events, and fieldtrips. Please send any meeting or activity ideas to tlc6@u.washington.edu.
