Step Out Against ViolenceShow

Step Out has been Rho Chapter's annual spring event for the past six years; it features step, stroll, and dance. Our very own sister, Thu Nguyen, started Step Out because she felt that domestic violence was an issue that needed more visibility in our community. Domestic violence takes on many forms and is a phenomenon that is prevalent in every culture all over the world. It tears apart families and ruins lives, but in our efforts, we can be one step closer to ending this tragedy for good.

Domestic violence occurs when a family member, partner or ex-partner attempts to physically or psychologically dominate another. Domestic violence often refers to violence between spouses, or spousal abuse but can also include cohabitants, as well as non-married intimate partners.
