Hello and welcome to University of Washington Husky Running Club! We are a student organization committed to bringing people together with a singular goal: to run. Anyone with any pace and any endurance is welcome to join. We split up into three, five, and seven mile groups for normal group runs and also host track, hill, and distance workouts. Come run with us and find what you need!
Husky Running Club does not technically have members, although in order to be eligible to run with us, please fill out this liability waiver and either bring it to club and give it to an officer or email it to us.
One of the coolest things about Husky Running Club is our lack of membership. We do not promote any specific type of runner, although we support all of them and cultivate an environment in which people from all skill levels can come together and grow as people and as athletes. We have established a great support system to literally guide you through it. Below are our beloved run leaders. If you ever need any help on the trail, look to them and they will be happy to assist you.
Husky Running Club is a student organization devoted to running. Continue where you left off with your high school cross-country days, start running for the first time, or start trying new distances!
Neither membership nor previous running experience is required, merely a desire to meet others and run. We have potlucks once or twice a quarter and host several weekend trail runs throughout the year. Everyone is welcome!
We meet four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 5:00 PM in the middle of the Quad.
Mondays and Thursdays are regular run days where we split off into 3, 5, and 7 mile groups. Tuesdays are track workouts, and Fridays are either hill runs or game days!
