2012 SENIOR PRACTICE CALENDAR
SHOTOKAN KARATE CLUB
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, SEATTLE
Senior practices are open to brown and black belts and are held every
Sunday at Dance Fremont (4015 Stone Way North) from 10:00am to 11:30pm, with the doors opening at 9:45.
The first Sunday practice of each month is usually lead by Ron.
The last Sunday of every month is an open kumite practice for all belts,
focusing on jiyu kumite. The group will often go out for
lunch together afterwards at a nearby eatery. White belts are highly
encouraged to attend!
To leading seniors: If you need to swap a weekend with someone
else, please notify the web
master so that the
calendar below can be updated.
Fees
$240 for black belts
$50 per quarter for brown belts (or $120 for the year)
The entire payment can be made at once (preferred), or in quarterly installments,
to Joel Blakely. You can mail checks to me at
12005 Possession Way, Mukilteo, WA 98275 or pay me at practice.
- Please note that all black and brown belt SKA members in the Seattle area are strongly encouraged to pay these dues to help nurture our Seattle SKA community.
- Attendance of these practices significantly influence kyu and dan testing decisions.
- If you have financial difficulties and cannot make these payments, you are still encouraged to come to practice. Lack of funds should not mean lack of practice. Please contact me to arrange for deferment.
