NEXT MEETING: 4/13/09 in SIEG 134
I hope you guys all enjoyed listening to Joyce Bhang last week and watching those videos too! That was some pretty amazing work that the ZOE's Childrens House is doing Thailand!

Alrighty, so this week is a little bit different! There are 2 parts:

Part 1) At 4:00, for those that can make it, we will be LEAVING the HUB loading parking lot to go to Kirkland Heights! So be there at 3:45 pleaseeeeeeee. At Kirkland Heights we will be cooking and serving dinner to 35 Hmong Jr. Highers. We will also be leading a song and games as well! We plan to be back at 7:00ish!

Part 2) We will have AACF in our normal room (Sieg 134) from 7:15 - 8:30pm. During the night, following our them of thriving within a group, we will have a night of praise and testimony! We will have some mini worship sets, and 4 of your fellow AACFers will be sharing their testimonies on this past year and talking about how we as a group can continue to encourage them! So, please come and support your buddies, because it can be a bit nerve racking sometimes!!

Ok, AACF! You guys are awesome! Enjoy the beginning of the week and we will see you ALL on Wednesday!!!

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS...

We will be doing community service on April 29th at Operation Nightwatch as well as on May 11th at Kirkland Heights. We will be serving/making food at both places! These are both on a Wednesday night, so it'll just be like AACF large group. Except not on campus. Think of it as a field trip! :D

If you would like to be added to the AACF emailing list and be notified of our upcoming events, or if you have any questions, please email us at uwaacf@u.washington.edu :)

Small group times can be found on the news page...first announcement!

VISION

Focusing on sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and equipping them with the necessary tools to both grow and strengthen their relationship with Christ. Through the support of a strong community and the development of Spiritual disciplines, students will have the opportunity and encouragement to thrive in their walk with Christ.

THEME
Thrive

VERSE
“14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.”

Ephesians 4:14-15

However...if YOU (yes, you!) are a part of AACF and have skills and would be interested in helping out with our webpage, please email cathywu@u.washington.edu and let us know. We will be glad to see if we can't put your skills to use!
