Solo Auditions:
Auditions are next Wednesday (5/22) at 6:15pm. Everyone should audition! Here are the songs that require soloists:
- Joy to the World: 3 soloists, one for each verse
- The Longest Time: 5 soloists, one for each verse
- Good Ol' A Cappella: 1-2 soloists for the verses, and 4 for the quartet (one of these is usually the soloist for the second half)
- Titanium: 1-2 soloists, during the whole song
- Domino: 1 soloist, whole song
- Some Nights: 1-2, and 1 for the 'autotuned' part
- Jar of Hearts: 1-2, whole song
- Fix You: 1-2, verses and at the very end
- Forget You: 1 soloist for the whole song, and 3 backup singers (the audition will be choreography and singing!)
- Africa: 1 soloist, whole song
- Faith: 2 soloists, whole song (you might have to sing in different 'styles')
Dress Rehearsals:
June 5th's rehearsal will be held in the ECT and NOT in MUS 313.
Spring Concert:
Our spring concert is fast approaching! June 9th is the big day and the show will begin at 2pm in the Ethnic Cultural Theatre.
MEMBERS: please be at the ECT by 10:50am for our dress rehearsal
New Members:
Unfortunately, we have decided to close membership for the rest of the year. With our Spring Concert quickly approaching, we decided that a handful of rehearsals would not be enough time for new memebers to learn all of our concert material. We will begin accepting new members again next Fall, and hope you'll join us then!
