Lots-o-snow + finally-not-cold-weather = too_much_water. Most rivers are too big right now for any good paddling with one exception: mother-flipping WENATCHEE. Who wants to go play? Leave Friday afternoon or Saturday morning of the 20th/21st, come back 22nd Sunday night. The Wenatchee: The only reason to cross the Cascades. Class III, big water, some of the best playboating in this state.

I'm planning to run a new-member sign up and rescue session this coming Friday from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. This is an opportunity to sign up with the club and perform the mandatory swim test, and/or to learn (or practice) performing self- and assisted-rescues.
