Unite For Sight is a global 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. Unite For Sight is the world’s leader in socially responsible, effective volunteering and also a leader in providing high quality, cost-effective care to the world’s poorest people. To date, Unite For Sight has provided eye care services to 1,200,000 patients, including more than 47,000 sight-restoring surgeries. At the University of Washington, we are fundraising to eliminate patient barriers to care and to facilitate Unite For Sight’s comprehensive year-round eye care for patients living in extreme poverty.

Unite For Sight’s chapter volunteers fundraise, and 100% goes directly to restoring sight and eliminating preventable blindness among those living in extreme poverty in developing countries.
