  Get ready to sing your heart out all night long at EnKore Karaoke, which features state of the art karaoke systems, plasma screens, and most importantly up-to-date songs in a variety of languages! enKore has also partnered up with Mee Sum and refreshments can be ordered throughout the night! We will also be hosting an exciting singing contest - sign up to compete or come out and support your friends!

  Singing Contest

  To start off the singing contest, we will be playing 百萬大歌星 (Name That Tune)
  We will play popular tunes and you will guess the name of the song and sing the next line.
  -5 people max (sign up day of)
  
  Round 1:
  8 contestants will sing their favorite song (主打歌)-- Choose a song that best showcases your singing ability!
  
  Round 2:
  4 contestants will be eliminated from round 1 and the remaining 4 contestants will sing an oldie (老歌)-- Choose any song from any artist that was released before 1999!
  
  Round 3 (champion round):
  2 contestants will be eliminated from round 2 and the remaining 2 contestants will compete to be the champion.-- Choose any love song/slow song (抒情歌) that best reflects your talent!
  
  In addition to naming the champion, all the contestants will be competing for these categories:
  偶像 (TSA Idol)
  人氣 (People's Choice)
  造型 (Best Dressed)
  台風 (Best Stage Presence)

Don't be afraid to show off your mad singing skills in front of the crowd and compete against other contestants!

Compete for fabulous prizes and a chance to perform at TSA’s Annual Night Market next month!

Here's how it goes,
1) 4 Song Categories

2) 5 Contestants per Category

3) Final Round- 4 category winners* will compete against each other once more and whoever receives the highest score is the CHAMPION of 2009 TSA Singing Contest!

* [ 情歌對唱 ] Love Song Duets category can choose to compete as a pair or send one person to compete in the final round.

.....Choose a song from any time period that best showcases your singing ability!

.....Choose a song from an album that was released before 1999. No songs released within the last ten years will qualify.
• [ 明星模仿 ] Sing like your favorite artist (Open)
.....Choose a song from any time period. You will need to either dress, sing, or act like that singer.
• [ 情歌對唱 ] Love Song Duets (Open)
.....Choose a song from any time period. You will be partnered up with another person, who does not have to be opposite in gender.

• 3 vs 3 鬥牛大賽 First Annual TSA Basketball Tournament
  Date: Saturday, March 3, 2007
  Time: 2pm-5pm

  RULES:
  1. TSA Members Only
  2. Single elimination, one-day tournament to 11 points,
  all 1-pointers. Call your own fouls.
  3. 3 people per team. Must sign up on the wall or email
  Kevin Hu (kevinhu@u.washington.edu) with the names
  of the 3 people on your team and a contact number by
  03/01/07. (see below) If you do not wish to form your
  own teams, email Kevin and he will put you on a team
  randomly.
  4. Entry fee $10 per team.
