Orientation

One of our most exciting times of the year ! TSA invites all new students, returning TSA members,

alumni and everyone else to our beginning of the year orientation. A great opportunity to meet new friends and reunite with the old ones. Come check out the various events that TSA will be hosting for the year, join our membership to get discounts at restaurants and shops in the U-District as well as other hotspots in Seattle, and even if these don't sound so attractive to you, free drinks and snacks will definitely your reason to attend !

Bubble Tea Night

There are very few things that bring Taiwanese people together quite like bubble tea.  To celebrate this delectable drink that originates from Taiwan, TSA will be hosting our first social event at Meesum Bubble Tea & Bakery located on 45th Ave and University Way Avenue. Bring your roommate and neighbors and enjoy a wonderful night of meeting people and festivities.

Karaoke Night

Do you aspire to be a singer, or simply love to sing?  Come show your singing abilities and enjoy a night full of hilarious performances and competitions by TSA Officers and other members at TSA¡¦s Karaoke (KTV) Night held in the U-District¡¦s K-Box.  TSA will have the entire KTV store to ourselves, so come prepared to sing your heart out!

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Are you a skilled basketball player? Do you regularly show up students on the court? Come find out how good you really are at TSA's 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, featuring the best of TSA and UW! Get your team together (3 members total) and start practicing those 3 pointers! The tournament will be held at the IMA.

Ski Trip

Come join TSA at our annual Ski Trip!  We have partnered up with Destination Snow for a wonderful 3¡Vday 2-night ski trip at the award winning Sun Peaks Resort in BC Canada.  The ski trip will take place during the Martin Luther King Weekend, and price includes 2 day¡¦s lift tickets, bus to and from UW, as well as free clubbing.  Be sure to mark your calendars¡Kmore details to come!  You do not want to miss this trip!

Winter Semi-Formal

Come celebrate a magical night with TSA at our annual Semi-formal Dance.  The semi-formal dance is held at a different venue every year with new themes.  Last year TSA welcomed over 200 people at our One Night in Formosa-themed dance, so you can expect bigger and better things this year.  So while it might be cold outside, it is most definitely HOT on the dance floor. Stay tuned for more details regarding this year¡¦s dance.

Taiwanese Night Market

No one can go back to Taiwan without visiting the world famous night markets.  TSA wants to bring that excitement here to UW, so we throw a massive Night Market each year during spring quarter at the HUB lawn.  Imagine the HUB lawn packed with food stands, live musical performances, and people.  Last year we recorded an attendance of over 2000 people, and we expect even more this year!  This is the event we¡¦re most proud of, so be sure to mark it on your calendars!  The Night Market is generally held the 6^th or 7^th weekend of spring quarter; for more information please visit our event website at http://www.areyouhungry.org.
